91 is reading… Botanical Style

Save & share

If you have got our S/S issue of the magazine, you may have noticed that we are quite partial to a plant or floral arrangement here at 91 HQ! So when we heard interior stylist Selina Lake latest book was entitled Botanical Style, we knew it was going to be right up our street! We are big ‘Selina fans’ anyway, so the combination of her styling talents and our beloved botanical beauties was sure to result in serious book heaven!

And we can confirm, it does not disappoint! It covers a variety of decor styles: Boho, Vintage, Industrial, Tropical and Natural – all very different looks but all perfectly incorporating the outdoors indoors. Whether it’s by creating your very own urban jungle or simply creating a gallery wall of vintage botanical drawings.

We love the DIY ideas dotted throughout the book like the pressed flower tealights, silk scarf cushion and this great vintage jelly mould turned planter!

There’s even something about the beautiful double page spread chapter openers that are simply beautiful – a little bit of Instagram inspiration we think! 🙂

We particularly enjoyed getting a little peek inside Selina’s own home too!As you can imagine it is totally dreamy! When can we move in Selina?!
