Our brand new edition has arrived and it is a beauty! I’m thrilled that we have the home of Bonnie Prins on the cover. I absolutely love Bonnie’s home and style with its ice cream shades mixed with brighter pops of neon pink, burnt orange and red. Our theme for Volume 16 is ‘Fresh’ and Bonnie’s home certainly encapsulates that.

WHAT’S INSIDE?

In my editor’s letter I say how the word ‘Fresh’ makes me think of nice things: “whether that is the smell of freshly-cut grass in spring, delicious homegrown produce, a cooling breeze on your face, newly washed sheets on the bed, and my favourite – a fresh, new notebook. It seems to offer up new possibilities, a sense of optimism and a feeling of freedom.”

That is exactly what I hope this issue brings – a dose of interior inspiration along with an uplifting feeling of anticipation of what new things or fresh ideas might come your way. The featured spaces all feel fresh in different ways, and there is also a nod to the freshness of scent and of delicious ripe produce, ideas around fresh starts for your creativity and freshening up your home.

WHOSE FEATURED?

Alongside our cover home, you’ll also get a peek inside the home of LA-based stylist Colette Miller, whose light, airy style will literally make you want to reach for the white paint! We also tour the home of sustainable fashion brand owner Hannah Philipson, whose Newcastle abode is filled with vintage finds and carefully chosen contemporary pieces. For colour lovers, the studio of artists Macarena Luzi and Sebastian Curi will delight, as will their cute little sausage dog! We even head to Malawi, where we hear the Creative Life story of Maddy McAllister who has created a stunning place to stay in a rural village, while her jewellery brand has provided stable employment for the local people.
