This is a super easy sweet treat to whip up, that makes an excellent handmade gift, a great alternative to an Easter egg perhaps? You can adjust the toppings to suit your preferences (or those of the recipients!)

RECIPE FOR CHOCOLATE FRUIT AND NUT BARKINGREDIENTS

  • 400g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp mixed seeds – toasted
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • 3 tbsp almonds
  • 3 tbsp hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp crystallised ginger – roughly chopped

RECIPE FOR CHOCOLATE FRUIT AND NUT BARKMETHOD

Melt the chocolate then spread it over a sheet of baking paper so it’s roughly ¼ inch thick. Scatter your toppings over the chocolate then refrigerate for 10 minutes or until it’s firm. Cut the slab into shards and enjoy!
