We’ve been keeping this one under wraps (it’s been tough!) but we are thrilled to finally share that we’ve been collaborating with IKEA on our latest issue! When you receive your copy you’ll be able to pore over the feature we created alongside three amazing stylists, who each refreshed a space with IKEA items, all styled around their NORRÅKER table. Here’s some outtakes from the feature to give you a little flavour of what is in the magazine. Continue reading to find out how you can try your hand at a spot of styling and be in with the chance of winning £250 to spend at IKEA….
Let’s face it, we all LOVE an IKEA trip, even with kids in tow it is possible to have a pleasant shopping experience with their child friendly eating areas and various play options to amuse them while you browse. Their ethos and varying price range makes it possible for even those on the tightest of budgets to have a stylish home. In our feature we wanted to demonstrate the versatility of their products; how they can be used for very different tasks and for creating completely different looks.
Now we want to challenge you, our readers, to show how you’ve styled your existing IKEA wares in your space, and then tell us what else you would love to do to refresh your home this Spring / Summer. Simply share your images on Instagram featuring at least one IKEA item, and include the hashtag #ikearoomrefresh with your caption. (Ideally we’d love you to tag us in – @91magazine and @ikeauk – so we can be alerted to your uploads)
Below is the basic T&Cs for entering this giveaway. It is very important that you read IKEA’s full T&Cs before entering. These can be found here.
- The competition will run from 10:00AM on 5th May 2017 until 11.59pm on 28th July 2017.
- The prize of a £250 IKEA gift card will be valid in all IKEA UK stores and online.
- Any images not adhering to all the guidelines will not be considered to win. You must include at least one IKEA product in your image and tag it with #ikearoomrefresh and say what else you’d like to do to refresh your space.
- After the closing date, 91 Magazine will choose a shortlist of 3 images, based on:
(a)Strength of visual appeal of the image
(b)Creativity of the image; and smart solutions
(c)The effort put in to show #ikearoomrefresh
(d)Your description of what makes this an image that depicts #ikearoomrefresh
IKEA will then select the winner from the shortlist.
