Our latest issue has been out for about 6 weeks now, and the feedback has been lovely – thank you to all of you who have already purchased your copy – it has been our fastest selling issue to date and already I have less than 200 copies left – so make sure you don’t miss out!
As always, I like to share some of the imagery that didn’t make it into print, but that I wished we could’ve squeezed in! We work with some many talented photographers and I just love looking through the shoots as they come in to us and hate to think some images might not get seen! So here’s a few extras to feast your eyes on….

There’s been some serious interior envy in the 91 office of Stevie Leigh Ayres beautiful home which featured on our cover. Kasia Fiszer did a lovely job shooting it and it was super tricky to edit down the images! Stevie’s place is rented so just goes to show you don’t need to own a property to put your own stamp on it.

We love a sneaky peek into creative workspaces. Above are just a few that featured in the last issue – Rodellee Bas of Adored Vintage, photographed by Celeste Noche, artist Laxmi Hussain, photographed by Maria Bell and Allison Sadler, whose home, workspace and shop were photographed by Kasia Fiszer. All so different in style, but equally as dreamy!

Photographer Kathryn Taylor got the chance to shoot The Chimney House – a beautiful venue in Sheffield – and came away with so many gorgeous images of this plant-filled industrial space. The plant theme continued over to our cafe feature, as Martina O’Shea travelled to Barcelona to capture Espai Joliu, a speciality coffee shop who also sell plants and other lifestyle items. I just love the rawness of the architecture in both of these spaces, soften by greenery and splashes of colour.

Finally, in this issue we had three delicious recipes that were inherited from the families of some 91 contributors. Sally Meier styled these images while photographer Safia Shakarchi captured them. Safia also made all the dishes and as I was on the shoot, I can confirm they were all yummy! You can find all the recipes in the magazine!
Don’t forget to grab your copy of Volume 8 before they all sell out and of course, if you know someone who you think might enjoy 91, then why not consider getting them a subscription for Christmas?! We also offer a 2 issue bundle, which includes Volume 8 and the previous one – Volume 7 – the perfect way to introduce someone to the magazine! 😉
